Role Overview
As the Manager for PV Performance Engineering, you will take the lead in overseeing PV design, energy modeling, and production estimates for large-scale solar initiatives. You will manage engineering consultants and Independent Engineers, ensuring peak performance throughout all phases of the project. Initially a sole contributor role, this position has the potential to evolve into a leadership role as our PV team expands.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Design
• Spearhead technical design processes (system sizing, equipment selection, electrical modeling) to achieve performance and financial objectives.
• Supervise the selection of technology for PV modules, trackers, DC collection, and wire management systems.
• Guide Independent Engineers through project financing and due diligence.
• Optimize designs to minimize the Levelized Cost of Energy, ensuring efficient project execution.
