TEAM OVERVIEW:
The Digital Manufacturing team at Anduril is on the lookout for a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Digital Tools. Our team is crucial in streamlining manufacturing operations by implementing and managing advanced digital solutions, ensuring our processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with the latest industry standards.
ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Manufacturing Engineer for Digital Tools, you will spearhead the internal deployment and user adoption of Anduril’s ProductionOS manufacturing software solutions. We seek a candidate with strong technical and analytical skills, capable of applying these in practical environments to achieve meaningful outcomes for our business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with manufacturing and software leadership to develop and implement innovative software strategies that boost productivity, minimize costs, and enhance quality.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure the manufacturing software roadmap aligns with overarching business goals.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to maintain our manufacturing processes at the forefront of technology.
- Facilitate the adoption of manufacturing software solutions throughout the organization, overseeing the communication loop between users and developers.
- Create and uphold detailed documentation regarding manufacturing software standard operating procedures and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, User Experience Design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a digital manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of MES, ERP, and PLM systems, as well as their interactions with operational processes.
- Exceptional user empathy and communication skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively across teams.
