The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic summer Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) intern to assist in launching our MSAT laboratory at the newly established BaseCamp facility in Pittsburgh, PA. The intern will be responsible for authoring workflows, developing organizational tools, and supporting technical deliverables, while also identifying and implementing process improvements. This role requires effective communication across multiple departments and the presentation of all deliverables to a cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the establishment of the MSAT Laboratory, including the startup of equipment, ordering materials, and creating an organizational framework for training and technology transfer readiness.
- Develop and validate digital execution records for operational tasks within the MSAT laboratory.
- Design training materials focused on bioprocessing, aseptic technique, and GMP operations.
- Collaborate across departments and sites to support site startup projects.
