Job Summary:
We are on the lookout for a Growth Lead – Maritime to spearhead growth initiatives across both naval and commercial maritime sectors. This includes engagement with surface vessels, submarines, unmanned maritime systems, shipbuilders, and marine defense integrators.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of maritime acquisition processes, shipbuilding environments, and naval requirements development. Additionally, they should be capable of effectively guiding our internal engineering teams to create innovative prototypes that align with maritime client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Capture & Revenue Growth
· Lead the development and execution of business strategies targeting the U.S. Navy, maritime defense agencies, shipbuilders, and commercial maritime OEMs.
· Identify, assess, and advance opportunities from initial concept to contract award.
· Lead capture planning and formulate strategies to win high-profile naval and maritime contracts.
· Drive significant revenue growth in alignment with company objectives.
· Influence early-stage opportunities through requirements shaping and specification development.
Maritime Customer & Ecosystem Engagement
· Act as the principal external representative of Canopy A&D within the maritime ecosystem.
· Foster and sustain senior-level relationships across naval program offices, shipyards, prime contractors, system integrators, and Tier 1 suppliers.
· Collaborate with internal teams to enhance our offerings and better serve our maritime clients.
