AECOM is seeking a talented Marketing and Proposal Specialist to join our Montreal team. This position can be based in our Montreal or Quebec City offices.
The primary responsibility of this role will involve managing and directing or supporting the production of proposals and marketing documents in response to client requests for strategic complex offers in the transportation, water, environment, and buildings + facilities sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage and/or support responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs). Lead highly complex submissions and participate in high-level strategic submissions with diverse execution methods and significant business opportunities across Canada.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Intelligence (BDI) team to develop plans and strategies for BDI and secure wins for major business opportunities, including conducting industry studies and competitive analyses.
- Lead assigned business opportunity teams with diverse execution methods and major business prospects; facilitate proposal meetings (Go/No Go discussions); conduct quality reviews to ensure compliance with RFP requirements and brand standards.
- Develop and manage timelines for business opportunity research.
- Produce documents using MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign.
- Lead the proposal writing process, including summaries, company past performance, management approaches, and employee resumes for major business opportunities.
- Act as a reviewer during formal reviews (pink, red, gold) or as a compliance reviewer for major business opportunities.
- Coordinate and lead feedback sessions to gather client insights on proposals for continuous improvement. Develop a plan for implementing lessons learned.
- Lead and coordinate strategy and prepare presentation and interview materials.
- Assist business opportunity managers and project managers in updating business opportunity information in Salesforce, including legal and contractual reviews, and help track progress on assigned opportunities in Salesforce.
- Help maintain marketing information in Salesforce (such as resumes and project sheets).
