Marketing Director for APAC Region
Territory: The Marketing Director will oversee the APAC region.
Location: Preferred in Singapore or Sydney.
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time is required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Marketing Director is tasked with crafting, adapting, and executing high-impact Marketing and Communication strategies. The core objectives are to enhance Genetec’s brand presence, stimulate ongoing business demand, and advocate for Genetec’s technology and integrator partner ecosystem across the Asia Pacific region.
1. Leadership & Team Development
· Lead, inspire, and enhance the skillset of the APAC Marketing team members.
· Continuously explore and implement innovative strategies, practices, and methodologies to elevate the performance and effectiveness of individual team roles.
· Provide strategic support to internal teams and significant customer accounts in marketing and communications initiatives.
2. Strategic Branding & Brand Awareness
· Amplify Genetec’s brand recognition by cultivating sensitivity and acknowledgment among key clientele through targeted marketing initiatives.
· Collaborate with HQ Public Relations teams to sustain robust media visibility and nurture relationships with local governments in the APAC region to bolster advocacy and brand credibility.
· Ensure that key customer success narratives are effectively showcased and utilized as references.
· In partnership with Sales, Product, and Industry Marketing, determine the optimal product/service mix for the region and craft compelling high-level storytelling.
3. Demand Generation & Sales Alignment
· Design and enact a diverse array of internal and external marketing campaigns aimed at acquiring new customers and optimizing existing accounts.
· Create a substantial lead pipeline and business opportunities that are tightly aligned with regional sales objectives.
· Aid regional teams in broadening the scope of opportunities by centering activities on Genetec’s bespoke product and service offerings.
4. Partner Ecosystem & Digital Practice
· Drive an effective digital marketing practice that benefits both customers and the broader partner ecosystem (system integrators).
