Job Summary
The School of Marketing within the College of Business & Economic Development is inviting applications for a nine-month Instructor of Marketing position, commencing in August 2026. This role is based on the Hattiesburg campus and will contribute to our expanding face-to-face and online Marketing degree programs, minors, and certificates.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach four courses per semester (or equivalent), as determined by the Director of the School. Responsibilities will primarily support the Marketing BSBA degree as well as minors and certificate programs.
- Be prepared to teach various Marketing courses, including Principles of Marketing, Creative Marketing, Marketing Analytics, among others as needed.
- Engage in service activities at the school, college, and university levels.
- Maintain high standards of teaching quality, both online and in-person.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment and participate in School events and functions.
