Join modern-ai as a Marketing Tracking & Attribution Specialist where you will spearhead the innovative development and management of our tracking and attribution systems. This position is ideal for a highly skilled technical professional who recognizes the power of data as a strategic asset.
In response to industry changes regarding standard client-side tracking, we have successfully crafted a robust server-side failover mechanism utilizing n8n and Meta’s Conversions API (CAPI). The chosen candidate will take complete responsibility for this environment, guaranteeing 100% data integrity, superior signal quality, and advanced client reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Signal Integrity & Resilience: Oversee and enhance our bespoke server-to-server (S2S) tracking pipelines, acting as the key stakeholder for Meta Event Match Quality (EMQ) and multi-platform attribution.
- Infrastructure Strategy: Assess our existing n8n-based architecture in comparison to Server-Side Google Tag Manager (sGTM) to identify the most scalable and cost-efficient long-term strategy.
- Advanced Implementation: Design and implement custom webhooks and JSON payloads to efficiently capture and deliver high-quality conversion data while ensuring rigorous deduplication via event_id management.
- Cross-Platform Integration: Oversee data flow throughout the MarTech stack, including GTM, GA4, Meta Business Suite, and CRM systems.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting: Create automated, high-level dashboards that convert complex technical data into actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience with API-driven marketing integrations and server-side tracking frameworks.
- Platform Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Google Tag Manager, Tik Tok, Klaviyo and Meta Events Manager.
- Automation Logic: Practical experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Make, or Zapier) for managing intricate data routing.
- Analytical Rigor: Comprehensive understanding of the contemporary privacy landscape (iOS14+, cookie deprecation) and its effects on digital attribution.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting: Ability to design automated, high-level dashboards that turn complex technical data into actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders.
