Join our team at Vuori as a passionate and results-oriented Marketplace Manager who will drive our expansion across Europe by spearheading our strategy, operations, and optimization on the Zalando Marketplace. As Europe plays a pivotal role in our international growth, this position is essential for developing our approach within this vital channel.
The Marketplace Manager will be accountable for the strategic and operational oversight of Zalando in Europe, managing performance from start to finish. This includes collaboration on product assortment, crafting market-specific strategies, identifying customer trends, and optimizing performance to foster growth, including attracting new customers.
This role reports directly to the General Manager for Europe and collaborates closely with functional leaders at our headquarters as well as key teammates within Zalando. The ideal candidate will possess marketplace experience (specifically with Zalando), have a strategic mindset while also being operationally savvy, and be willing to engage directly in execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all Zalando marketplace operations, ensuring top performance in product listings, stock availability, pricing, and promotions.
- Drive growth in GMV, revenue, margin, and customer engagement.
- Continuously monitor performance to enhance Vuori’s positioning with a brand-forward perspective, analyzing key performance indicators and providing regular reports to senior leadership.
- Develop and execute marketplace growth strategies aligned with our European commercial objectives.
- Define product assortment, category expansions, and customer acquisition initiatives.
- Act as the primary contact for all internal and external inquiries related to marketplace activities.
- Manage marketing budgets for the marketplace, ensuring optimized spending that yields measurable ROI and actionable insights, while improving visibility and conversion rates.
- Uphold taxonomy, categorization, and merchandising standards.
- Support the long-term development and scaling of local marketplace operations.
- Explore new marketplace opportunities, channels, and monetization strategies.
