As a key member of our Commercial & Investment Banking (C&IB) team, you will oversee comprehensive recruitment efforts from start to finish. This high-impact position will enable you to collaborate closely with business leaders to identify, engage, and attract top-tier banking talent, ultimately supporting the organization in achieving its strategic goals.
In addition to managing current recruitment initiatives, your role will involve ongoing proactive candidate engagement, development, and presentation. You will play a crucial part in Talent Acquisition, providing valuable competitive intelligence, market mapping, and assisting with confidential projects. Building strong relationships with senior managers and candidates is essential; therefore, your consultative approach and strategic insight will be vital to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, from initial outreach to successful candidate placement.
- Act as the primary recruiting liaison for various client groups within the C&IB division.
- Source qualified candidates through diverse channels, ensuring a positive candidate experience with consistent communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Possess an expert understanding of the recruiting needs specific to the line of business.
- Inform candidates about career advancement opportunities, compensation structures, and the myriad benefits of working with us, effectively selling both the firm and the available position.
- Facilitate compensation discussions with hiring managers and candidates to ensure successful offer closures.
- Provide insightful market data to support client needs.
- Establish strong partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including HR Advisory, Compensation, and Business Management, to strategize recruitment efforts, senior hiring, and data reporting.
- Leverage the full capabilities of the applicant tracking system, maintaining data integrity throughout the recruitment process.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting, particularly within the Markets or Investment Banking domains.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to handle complex assignments and multiple searches while delivering exceptional client service.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with expertise in name generation.
- Comfortable with direct sourcing and adept at persuading currently employed candidates about opportunities within the firm.
- Interpersonally effective, capable of engaging with employees at all organizational levels.
- Innovative, creative, and resourceful in your recruiting approach.
