As a Material Control Supervisor, you will oversee the operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient handling of materials and maintaining accurate stock records. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and coordinating the activities of warehouse personnel engaged in receiving, stacking, and filing orders while maintaining comprehensive stock records.
- Managing the labeling and packing processes for materials and products.
- Training and guiding a dedicated team of inventory and warehouse staff to efficiently receive and organize incoming stock and manage product displays.
- Contributing to the achievement of warehouse operational standards by integrating information into strategic planning and reviews, implementing production and customer service standards, troubleshooting issues, and suggesting system enhancements.
- Monitoring warehouse financial performance by preparing annual budgets, tracking expenses, identifying discrepancies, and executing corrective measures.
- Coordinating the movement of inventory by scheduling transfers in alignment with departmental needs.
- Optimizing storage space by following best practices in organization and layout while proposing improvements.
- Conducting monthly inventory audits, reconciling differences, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Contributing to the overall mission of the warehouse and organization by achieving related objectives as necessary.
