Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Material Handler in our Stockroom, you will play an essential role in the safe handling and processing of aluminum extrusions for anodization. This position is vital for ensuring that our products meet high-quality standards and are efficiently prepared for further processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely rack and unrack aluminum extrusions in preparation for anodization.
- Maintain consistent attendance and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Efficiently complete tasks while prioritizing safety and quality.
- Collaborate with team members and management to streamline the production process.
- Demonstrate willingness to undergo training for tasks in various areas as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods, up to 12 hours.
- Capability to twist, bend, and kneel as necessary.
- Physical strength to lift, push, pull, or move up to 75 lbs individually or 150 lbs with assistance.
- Able to manually grasp metal and operate hooks and clamps.
- Capacity to lift aluminum extrusions overhead and at varying levels with or without assistance.
- Continuous reaching, handling, and grasping, with frequent upper body rotation.
- Visual acuity for inspecting products for quality defects.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying climate conditions, including heat and humidity.
