We are currently seeking motivated and qualified Material Handling and Lift Truck Service Technicians to be part of our team in Euless, TX. Role Overview
In your capacity as a Service Technician, you will be integral to ensuring our customers' heavy equipment operates at optimal performance. This hands-on role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diverse machinery, while delivering exceptional service with expertise and efficiency. Collaboration across departments is essential to guarantee that every customer's requirements are fulfilled promptly and professionally.
Core Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical systems, both in the shop and in the field.
- Conduct planned maintenance to ensure equipment operates smoothly.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Manager and various departments to fulfill customer needs.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, whether in the shop or on-site.
- Utilize computers and communication tools to document repairs and stay coordinated with the team.
- Complete work orders efficiently and effectively.
- Preferred experience includes:
Curtis Controller, Narrow Aisle, Class 1 thru 5, Warehouse Products, Cold Storage, Pneumatic / Cushion Tired Trucks, Electric Stand-Up Rider, Electric Sit-Down Trucks, Pneumatic Tire Diesel & LP, Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Stackers, Pallet Trucks.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in heavy equipment troubleshooting and repair, along with Technical Certifications or an Associate’s Degree.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical theories and principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for daily reporting.
- Proficient computer literacy skills for email and work order management.
- Ability to work within established timeframes, multitask, and adhere to protocols.
- Capability to operate with minimal supervision and demonstrate independent judgment.
- Maintain constructive working relationships and manage challenging situations professionally.
- Ability to obtain a forklift license.
- Must provide tools suitable for heavy equipment repair.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maneuver around and crawl under equipment as necessary.
