Annual salary range: $68,000 - $85,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic factors.
We are looking for a dedicated Materials Manager to join our team at one of our facilities. The Materials Manager is responsible for overseeing the flow of materials into and out of the plant and associated warehouses. This role includes monitoring purchasing practices, managing order processes, including vendor consignments, and coordinating with the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to meet plant service standards. You will take ownership of all inventory practices, lead inventory initiatives, and promote awareness across INX International regarding key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing SAP material master data for accuracy and adherence to INX policies.
- Managing warehousing standards set by INX, including external warehousing as necessary.
- Executing effective material delivery and replenishment strategies to support the master schedule and maintain inventory health.
- Collaborating with Procurement, Planning, Production, R&D, Legal, HR, and Quality departments as needed.
- Addressing concerns related to materials, equipment, and processes promptly.
- Meeting warehouse sanitation, 5S, and GMP requirements.
- Leading and participating in continuous improvement teams as required.
- Recommending improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs while achieving corporate and site-specific objectives.
- Managing work-off and disposals with full traceability.
- Maintaining open communication with material vendors and internal stakeholders to coordinate the flow of materials effectively.
- Verifying or preparing documentation such as routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders as needed.
- Owning the site MRP process, reporting, and inventory practices, including purchase order management, inventory levels, cycle counts, and overall inventory health.
- Committing to participation in the facility's TPM activities with a clear understanding of all KPI targets for their team, site, and department.
