At Foresight Mental Health, we are committed to enhancing access to exceptional mental health care through our outpatient services, which include virtual and in-person therapy throughout California. We are currently seeking a passionate Maternal Mental Health Therapist to join our expanding Maternal Mental Health (MMH) Specialty Program.
Your Role:
As a Maternal Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individualized and/or group therapy to clients in the MMH Specialty Program, utilizing evidence-based practices focused on perinatal and reproductive mental health. You will engage in interdisciplinary MMH rounds, actively contributing to case discussions, treatment planning, and program enhancement. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop and deliver educational content for clinicians, assess program efficacy, support continuous improvement initiatives, and advocate for maternal mental health within and beyond our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions for clients seeking to conceive or in the perinatal phase using evidence-based methodologies.
- Manage a clinical caseload of 25-35 clients based on program demands and necessary administrative duties.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation practices.
- Assist in screening, intake, and assessment processes to facilitate suitable and prompt access to care.
- Collaborate with psychiatry and other disciplines to provide coordinated, holistic care.
- Offer crisis management and stabilization support as required.
Collaboration and Program Development:
- Engage in interdisciplinary MMH program rounds, contributing to case discussions, treatment planning, and program evolution.
- Work with leadership to identify and address trends, obstacles, and growth opportunities for the program.
Education and Community Outreach:
- Create and present internal educational materials on perinatal and reproductive mental health.
- Develop client-facing educational workshops or support groups to foster community engagement.
- Represent the MMH program at both internal and external events.
- Act as a maternal mental health advocate within and outside of the organization.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, contingent on experience, education, and certifications.
