Opportunity Overview
Each project presents unique tasks, contributors may be required to:
- Craft rigorous mathematics problems that mirror professional practices;
- Assess AI solutions for accuracy, assumptions, and limitations;
- Validate calculations or simulations utilizing Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy);
- Enhance AI reasoning to conform with industry-standard logic;
- Implement structured scoring criteria for multi-step problems.
Desired Qualifications
This role is well-suited for mathematicians skilled in Python, looking for part-time, non-permanent projects. Ideal candidates will possess:
- A degree in Mathematics or related disciplines, such as Algebra, Calculus, or Number Theory;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mathematics;
- Proficiency in written English (C1/C2);
- Strong ability in Python for numerical validation;
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (such as CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international or applied projects will be considered advantageous.

Project Time Expectations
During active phases, tasks are anticipated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week, influenced by project demands. This is an estimate and does not guarantee workload during inactive phases.
Compensation
- Compensated contributions, with rates reaching up to $42/hour*
- Fixed project rates or individual rates based on specific project requirements
- Incentive payments may be included in certain projects
*Note: Compensation varies based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project requirements, and other factors. Higher rates may be available for specialized experts. Lower rates may apply during onboarding or non-core project phases. Payment specifics will be provided per project.
