Job Description
Open to REMOTE but preferably ONSITE in Simi Valley, CA.
The Mechanical Drafter position plays a crucial role in assisting our engineering team with the design of components, parts, and assemblies. You will create engineering drawings, engineering change orders, bills of materials, and other essential engineering documentation. Collaborating with engineers and manufacturing personnel, you will develop new designs, modify existing ones, document design changes, update bills of materials, and manage documents through our configuration management system.
Position Responsibilities
- Design mechanical parts, components, and assemblies, including composite, metallic, and non-metallic materials.
- Collaborate with engineers to create and refine detailed engineering drawings.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of bills of materials.
- Ensure all design documentation meets regulatory and quality standards.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
