As we embark on an exciting growth trajectory, we are on the lookout for a passionate Mechanical Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will design, select, and commission essential process equipment and structural components, facilitating the transition of carbon capture projects from concept to field deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of carbon capture facilities.
- Lead the complete mechanical design, analysis, fabrication, and assembly processes for static equipment and structures.
- Create detailed 3D/2D models for mechanical systems, including equipment, internals, and structural components.
- Collaborate with Process, Civil, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams to ensure cohesive equipment layout design and cost efficiency.
- Take comprehensive ownership of mechanical packages, including Pressure Vessel Packages, Heat Exchanger Systems, piping systems, and Plant Mechanical Equipment Packages.
- Prepare technical documentation and deliverables such as Material Datasheets and Material Requisitions.
- Review and assess design packages from vendors and subcontractors.
- Participate in Process Hazard Analysis and HAZOP studies.
- Assist in commissioning, Factory Acceptance Tests, and startup procedures for carbon capture systems.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager.
