JOB SUMMARY
The Media Planner plays a pivotal role within our team, requiring a unique combination of analytical acumen, marketing expertise, and consumer research proficiency. This position involves actively participating in the creation and management of impactful cross-channel media strategies, leveraging insights from Client Leadership and Strategic Communications Planning.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the client's business and the consumer journey.
- Collaborate with Managers to implement media strategies and achieve cross-channel goals informed by Client Leadership and Strategic Communications Planning.
- Assist in identifying optimal strategic approaches across various channels, including Digital, Print, Video, Audio, and Specialty.
- Support the development and presentation of comprehensive cross-channel media recommendations, including detailed flowcharts and budgets.
- Become proficient in utilizing industry-standard tools and systems.
- Create clear briefs for internal Investment Teams and collaborate on media partner RFPs.
- Foster productive relationships with Investment Teams and Havas Affiliates to ensure media strategies align with brand objectives.
- Maintain and manage flowcharts, buying guidelines, budget summaries, and plan deliveries.
- Conduct research and analysis to address challenges in executing tactical plans.
- Ensure quality control by verifying the accuracy of all media plan documentation generated by the Connections Planner Associate.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging media opportunities to provide innovative solutions for reaching target audiences.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
