The Role
We are in search of a compassionate and dedicated individual to fill the position of Medical Actor. This part-time, on-site role in Indianapolis, IN provides a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on medical education. As a Medical Actor, you will depict realistic patient scenarios, aiding healthcare professionals and students in honing their clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills. Your contributions will be crucial in preparing future healthcare providers for real-world patient encounters.
This contract position offers a competitive daily rate of $100, with a required commitment of 2–3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Professionalism - Ensure all interactions remain professional, realistic, and reflective of actual patient encounters.
Portray Medical Scenarios - Effectively simulate a range of medical conditions, symptoms, and patient histories as per scripted scenarios.
Participate in Assessments - Engage in clinical assessments or examinations, acting as the patient under the evaluation of students or professionals.
Adapt to Different Roles - Assume various roles, portraying patients from diverse age groups, backgrounds, and medical conditions.
