About the job
At Headway, we are on a transformative mission to create an accessible mental health care system for everyone. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, we connect individuals with exceptional therapists through the first software-enabled national network of providers who accept insurance.
In the U.S., 1 in 4 individuals struggle with a treatable mental health condition, yet many providers do not accept insurance, rendering therapy unaffordable for most. Our objective at Headway is to revolutionize this landscape by simplifying the insurance acceptance process for therapists, thereby enhancing their ability to expand their practices.
Founded in 2019, Headway has rapidly evolved into a diverse national network comprising over 60,000 mental health care providers across all 50 states, utilizing our software to deliver care to over 1 million patients. We are a Series D company backed by over $325 million in funding from esteemed investors including a16z (Andreessen Horowitz), Accel, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Spark Capital, Thrive Capital, Forerunner Ventures, and Health Care Service Corporation.
