Job Summary
The Medical Science Liaison plays a pivotal role in the design, execution, and evaluation of clinical studies that underpin the development and commercialization of groundbreaking healthcare technologies. This position requires a collaborative mindset to work alongside cross-functional teams such as R&D, regulatory affairs, legal, product management, customer success, clinical development, and medical affairs. Your primary focus will be on ensuring scientific integrity, data quality, adherence to global regulatory standards, and alignment of project objectives with organizational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clinical Research and Clinical Utility Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in clinical imaging and technical workflows relevant to the specialty or modality of study. Identify obstacles to success and lead initiatives to enhance research progression.
- Clinical Evidence Strategy: Develop and communicate strategies that support the creation of impactful clinical evidence. Provide insights on the product roadmap to product management, guiding leadership decisions toward sustainable clinical strategies.
- Partnership Development: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare providers and affiliated research institutions. Enhance branding and messaging to solidify and nurture these valuable relationships.
- Research Program Initiation: Collaborate with internal and external partners to conceptualize, assess feasibility, plan, initiate, and support successful research programs.
- Clinical Study Management: Oversee and execute clinical studies by creating project plans, RACI charts, communication strategies, budget proposals, timelines, and defining deliverables.
