Your Mission:
As the Member Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our members adhere to AP+ Scheme Rules across all three schemes. As a subject matter expert, you will deliver specialized insights and oversight on due diligence, non-compliance issues, and risk prioritization, while fostering robust relationships with members and internal stakeholders. Your focus will be on effectively managing compliance processes, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining comprehensive governance records to advance AP+’s regulatory and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor member compliance with AP+ Scheme Rules, including due diligence, annual attestations, and remediation initiatives.
- Coordinate and resolve non-compliance cases and tickets within set service level agreements (SLAs), advising on appropriate consequence management actions.
- Provide expert interpretation and guidance on Scheme Rules and compliance frameworks to both members and internal teams.
- Lead discussions with stakeholders regarding breaches, remediation strategies, exemptions, and risk prioritization.
- Ensure accurate compliance registers, governance documentation, and audit-ready records are maintained.
- Prepare compliance reports, analyze trends, and share insights with management and relevant forums.
- Draft and disseminate communications to members concerning compliance and regulatory obligations.
- Contribute to quality assurance initiatives, identifying control gaps and opportunities for process enhancements.
- Assist in incident and problem management activities related to member compliance.
- Work collaboratively across functions (Product, Legal, Payment Operations, Commercial, Fraud) to support organizational initiatives and strengthen compliance outcomes.
