We are currently in search of a talented Mid-Level Buyer who possesses robust procurement expertise to bolster our expanding operations and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities of the Buyer:
- Act as a supportive team player, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Strictly adhere to EnerMech’s established processes and procedures.
- Uphold business ethics and ensure compliance with company principles.
- Foster trustworthy relationships with suppliers to facilitate efficient purchasing.
- Maintain precise records of purchased items, associated costs, and delivery schedules.
- Select high-quality items that meet all specifications.
- Procure items for projects, stock, or approved capital expenditures (CAPEX).
- Travel to various EnerMech locations as required to ensure seamless communication across teams.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager or Operations Manager.
- Utilize enterprise resource planning software (NAVISION or similar) proficiently to manage purchase orders and fixed assets.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, General Manager, and Project Managers to review and approve invoices.
- Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Conduct vendor interviews and facility visits to assess their offerings, services, and pricing.
- Work closely with staff and vendors to resolve issues related to defective goods or services.
- Monitor contracts to ensure supplier compliance and recommend necessary adjustments.
