This pivotal role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities including comprehensive financial management, oversight of accounting systems, and the delivery of precise financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations, managing cash flow, payroll, invoicing, and all financial transactions.
- Engage external services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investment, and other financial requirements as needed.
- Lead the Finance and Accounting & Purchase functions effectively.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and legislation.
- Knowledge of U.S. incorporation accounting and tax regulations is a plus.
- Manage financial closure, budgeting, income tax, service tax, excise & taxation, and compliance with the Companies Act.
- Facilitate assessments under various acts and coordinate statutory and internal audits.
- Strategize financial control, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Navigate regulations for private limited companies and conduct internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with withholding, income, and sales tax.
- Allocate budgets for the marketing team to acquire new customers through online advertising.
- Monitor the company's financial health and performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Explore strategies to mitigate financial risks.
- Provide strategic insights and expectations to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks including reconciliations of bank accounts, completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports.
- Prepare financial reports for the CEO.
- Manage client billing, invoicing, and accounts.
- Stay abreast of advancements in technology and accounting software like Stripe, Wave Apps, and QuickBooks.
- Establish and maintain financial policies, standard operating procedures, and protocols for the organization.
