Join our dynamic team at Hootsuite as an Account Executive focused on Mid-Market Sales. In this role, you will drive the development and closure of new business opportunities with mid-market clients in our key industries. Operating in a fast-paced sales environment, you will be responsible for promoting Hootsuite's innovative social media management solutions to prospective customers. This hybrid position is perfect for candidates located within commuting distance of Vancouver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire new mid-market clients by effectively responding to and managing internal leads to meet and exceed individual sales quotas.
- Guide sales cycles from initial value proposition to negotiation and closing deals, consistently forecasting and securing new revenue each month.
- Research market insights to establish strong connections with mid-market clients, recommending tailored solutions from Hootsuite’s extensive product suite to address their business challenges.
- Propose relevant third-party partner solutions, enhancing our pitch and differentiating our offerings to meet customer needs.
- Deliver engaging product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of our diverse solutions. Complete RFI/RFP and other technical documentation as required.
- Collaborate with pre and post-sales teams to overcome obstacles, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term success.
- Track, manage, and report on sales activities and performance using Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and 6Sense.
- Facilitate seamless transitions to implementation and customer success teams after closing sales, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
- Educate and engage existing commercial clients about Hootsuite’s value proposition, aligning their unique needs with their social media goals.
- Provide mentorship and support to new team members as they onboard and enhance their sales skills.
- Perform additional related duties as needed.
