Why We Need You
As a Mid-Market Account Executive focused on the Public Sector, you will spearhead Box's expansion within local government Justice & Public Safety (JPS) agencies throughout the Western United States. We are on the lookout for a proactive territory owner with a greenfield mentality, someone passionate about identifying new opportunities, traveling to meet with agencies, and building a robust portfolio from scratch. You won’t merely manage a territory; you will truly own it, bringing new customers on board while demonstrating how Box can enhance content management and collaboration for organizations handling increasing amounts of unstructured data.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new clients within the local government sector across your designated territory in the West.
- Develop and implement a detailed, data-driven territory strategy that highlights high-growth opportunities.
- Engage in active prospecting for new business through discovery calls, product demonstrations, and consistent outreach efforts.
- Research and comprehend the unique operational challenges faced by local government agencies to effectively communicate Box’s value proposition.
- Travel up to 50% for in-person meetings with clients, participation in industry events, and to enhance regional visibility.
