About St. HOPE Public Schools
Established in 2003, St. HOPE Public Schools is committed to cultivating a community of self-motivated, industrious, and critically thinking leaders who are eager to serve others, embrace lifelong learning, and are prepared for success in higher education. Our network comprises three charter schools: PS7 Elementary School, PS7 Middle School, and Sacramento Charter High School, all situated in the vibrant Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento.
St. HOPE has set high standards and has achieved remarkable outcomes in closing the achievement gap, enabling our scholars to reach their highest potential. Despite serving a diverse population of predominantly minority and low-income students, our academic performance consistently surpasses district averages. Notable achievements include:
- Sacramento Charter High School has been recognized by the California Charter Schools Association as the highest performing high school for Black students in California.
- Both PS7 and Sacramento Charter High School were named California Education Champions by the National Action Network, being among only 16 predominantly African American schools that performed in the top 25% statewide, achieving a perfect score of 10/10 in comparison to similar institutions.
