Join the team at South Dade Kia as a Kia Certified Service Technician, where skilled military veterans are given the chance to embark on a fulfilling career. Supported by Kia America, Inc., the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) has been established to nurture talent and offer growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, focusing on engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components.
- Complete repair orders and warranty requests in accordance with Kia and retailer policies.
- Test drive vehicles and utilize Kia diagnostic strategies, special equipment, and tools for analysis and repair.
- Perform services, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently while ensuring optimal customer communication with the shop foreman and service advisor.

Requirements:
- Honorable discharge from military service.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in a technical or mechanical field is essential.
- Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks.
