Walker Kia is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for skilled military veterans to embark on a rewarding career as a Kia Certified Service Technician. This initiative is backed by Kia America, Inc. through the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), designed specifically to support veterans transitioning into civilian roles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Complete repair orders and warranty requests in compliance with Kia and retailer policies and procedures.
- Conduct test drives to assess vehicle performance, and utilize Kia diagnostic tools to analyze and repair components and systems.
- Deliver timely services, diagnostics, and repairs while effectively communicating with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure a superior customer experience.
This position is with an independently owned and operated Kia retailer. By applying, you are seeking full-time employment with a participating Kia Retailer, not with KUS or ERS. All positions are subject to Federal and State employment laws applicable to each retailer.
