As the Ministry Coordinator for Future Congregation, you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational support through effective logistics management, communication, and follow-up tasks. This position is designed to facilitate impactful discipleship, guest experience, and outreach ministries, directly reporting to the Discipleship & Guest Experience Pastor on the Congregation team. This full-time role typically involves weekend services, office meetings in Irvine, and additional weekday responsibilities, totaling 40 hours per week. This position is classified as nonexempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Key Responsibilities
Volunteer Coordination
- Oversee the onboarding process for volunteers, including scheduling and communication.
- Act as the primary contact for volunteer inquiries, needs, and recognition initiatives.
Data & Systems Management
- Maintain and enhance the Rock database by updating profiles, logs, and attendance records.
- Generate reports on volunteer engagement and guest experience metrics.
Weekend Support
- Set up and dismantle service materials, including check-in stations, signage, and hospitality areas.
- Provide on-site troubleshooting assistance during services.
Communications & Resource Management
- Manage the congregation newsletter and social media updates.
- Assist in creating and distributing training materials for Rooted/Life Group leaders, Guest Services, and Outreach teams.
- Draft and distribute volunteer and guest updates regarding events and service opportunities.
Administrative Support
- Provide general support to the Lead Pastor and Discipleship & Guest Experience Pastor.
- Schedule planning meetings, take notes, and track action items.
- Assist with budget tracking, purchase requests, and resource ordering.
