As an integral part of our community, Assistant Guides help nurture children ages 0–6 to develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning.

Your Role
As an Assistant Guide, you will support a mixed-age Montessori classroom (Infant, Toddler, and Children’s House ages 3–6). Your contributions will create a calm and engaging environment where children feel empowered to explore, learn, and develop at their own pace.
In a Montessori setting, the environment and the guide work cohesively to foster each child's development. You will assist in preparing beautiful, intentional learning spaces and guide children through individualized and small-group activities—all while demonstrating respect, patience, and care.
Most importantly, you will help children cultivate confidence in their abilities and discover their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe children attentively to understand and cater to their individual needs.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining a beautiful and organized classroom environment.
- Support individual and small-group learning activities.
- Foster warm, respectful relationships with children and families.
- Collaborate with Lead Guides and fellow team members to cultivate a strong classroom community.
Qualifications We Seek
- Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
- A positive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori framework (prior Montessori experience is a plus but not required).
