About the Role:
The Multi-Cloud Solutions Architect for Presales is pivotal in driving our business forward by securing new ventures. This position demands comprehensive knowledge of multi-cloud frameworks and platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. The ideal candidate will not only possess technical expertise but also excel in delivering engaging presentations and acting as a reliable consultant for prospective clients. Responsibilities include transforming intricate technical specifications into persuasive value propositions and tailored solutions that meet client needs while ensuring compliance with all applicable security and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Development: Craft and design robust, scalable, and secure multi-cloud solutions that align with unique client specifications, involving the selection of suitable cloud services and integration methodologies.
- Presales Support: Serve as the technical lead throughout the presales journey, collaborating with sales teams to evaluate opportunities, formulate proposals, and conduct captivating presentations and demos.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated technologies, including cloud security, networking, DevOps, and data management. Remain updated with emerging trends and best practices in cloud technology.
- Client Engagement: Foster relationships with potential clients, comprehend their business challenges and technical needs, and effectively communicate the value of proposed solutions to key stakeholders.
- Proposal Development: Aid in crafting high-quality proposals that include technical descriptions, architecture diagrams, and cost assessments, ensuring that all submissions are technically sound and competitive.
- Compliance & Security: Guarantee that all proposed solutions adhere to relevant regulations and security standards (e.g., NCSC guidelines, GDPR). Showcase a strong grasp of these regulations to clients.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including sales, delivery, and engineering, to ensure a smooth transition of projects and successful execution.
- Market Awareness: Stay abreast of market developments, competitor offerings, and new technologies in the multi-cloud domain, particularly within the UK public sector.
- Thought Leadership: Engage in thought leadership initiatives, including writing articles, blog posts, and speaking at industry events.
