A Typical Day:As a Multi-Unit Team Leader, you will oversee three H&R Block tax offices. Your leadership skills and dedication to customer service will drive the success of your teams as they navigate the seasonal tax business.
You will be the primary manager responsible for developing associates, delivering exceptional client experiences, and meeting the growth objectives for your offices. Previous tax preparation experience is not a prerequisite.
Initially, you will work a flexible part-time schedule in the fall, transitioning to full-time from January to April, which may include evenings and weekends as required. Please note, this position is not remote and requires in-person attendance.
What you’ll bring to the team...:- Oversee staffing, operations, and logistics across multiple offices, supported by Associate Team Leaders.
- Collaborate with the District General Manager (DGM) to devise and execute growth plans and client engagement strategies, including local partnerships and community involvement.
- Assist DGM in the recruitment and selection of tax office associates.
- Conduct performance evaluations and work with the Associate Relations Center to address any issues or performance concerns.
- Foster an engaging team environment by training, coaching, and recognizing outstanding contributions from associates.
- Lead daily meetings and share vital information with tax office associates.
- Develop work schedules for associates across all offices, ensuring meticulous timekeeping and labor management.
- Travel between offices as needed.
- Prepare tax returns as required, following successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
