- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to outline requirements and validate workflows.
- Contribute detailed insights on user journeys, edge cases, and data structures for gas scheduling tools, including NAESB formats and scheduling windows.
- Identify essential integrations with third-party systems like pipelines and trading platforms.
- Review prototypes and wireframes to verify usability and industry relevance.
- Assist in prioritizing features and enhancements based on market standards and actual scheduler needs.
- Optionally engage in user interviews or customer feedback sessions to validate assumptions and gather insights.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in natural gas scheduling, ideally with a trading firm, marketer, or utility.
- Comprehensive knowledge of interstate and intrastate pipeline operations and FERC-related practices.
- Familiarity with ETRM/CTRM systems and the typical functioning of scheduling modules.
- Exceptional communication skills with the capability to translate operational details into actionable product insights.
- Previous involvement in software product development is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Able to work independently and asynchronously in a globally distributed environment.
