- Position: Teaching Assistant (Marketing)
- Location: Remote (Work from Home)
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Working Days: 6 Days a Week (1st & 3rd Saturdays Off)
- Working Hours: Between 12:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST (9 hours/day within this range)
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Support:
Provide academic and administrative assistance to undergraduate or postgraduate students. Address academic inquiries promptly within 24 hours, aiming for a response within 1 hour during working hours. - Proactive Engagement:
Initiate contact with each student at least twice a month and conduct one-on-one sessions to review their progress, address concerns, and answer questions based on a predefined checklist. - Grading:
Evaluate and grade 2 to 4 assignments per module each term. Collaborate with additional markers if necessary to ensure timely feedback, returning assignments within one week. - Collaboration:
Work closely with the tutor manager and professors to ensure grading and support processes are consistent. - Monitoring and Feedback:
Track student progress and provide regular updates to management, offering constructive feedback to aid student improvement. - Administrative Support:
Act as the primary contact for academic inquiries and assist academic staff and faculty members with administrative tasks. - Communication:
Ensure effective communication between academic staff and students to address queries and concerns efficiently. - Student Feedback:
Strive for positive feedback by delivering high-quality support and regularly integrating student input into service enhancements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Ph.D. in Marketing or Business Administration with a Marketing focus, or a Doctorate in Business Administration with Marketing or Digital Marketing emphasis, or a doctorate in a different business field with at least 18 semester credit hours at the doctoral level in Marketing
- Minimum experience in academic support roles preferred.
