In this role, you will take ownership of logistics processes while collaborating with production and project teams to achieve seamless operations.
Role Overview
As an NPI Planner, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the successful integration of new products into our operations. You will manage and coordinate the entire process from prototypes and pilot runs to establishing a scalable production process. Acting as a vital link between project teams, supply chain, production, and our customers, you will ensure visibility and transparency at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Formulating logistical plans for new projects from prototype stage through pilot runs to mass production;
Guaranteeing material availability for critical components, prototypes, and tools, while proactively managing deviations;
Tracking project milestones and timelines, developing contingency plans, and adjusting schedules as needed;
Establishing logistics processes that support volume production including ERP parameters, inventory policies, and planning settings;
Providing updates on project progress, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies to stakeholders, including customers;
Collaborating with Project Management, Procurement, Logistics Engineering, Production Planning, and Quality Assurance to implement effective changes (ECNs);
Engaging regularly on the shop floor to ensure alignment between documented processes and actual operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain or production planning, preferably in a technical or high-tech environment;
A practical, process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and accountability;
Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with Infor LN is advantageous);
Exceptional Excel skills and ability to make data-driven decisions;
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English;
The ability to maintain oversight, assertively voice concerns, and proactively engage on the factory floor.
