About the job
Are you a nuclear engineering authority ready to influence the future of artificial intelligence? As large-scale language models transition from simple chatbots to dynamic engines of scientific inquiry, your expertise is crucial. By providing high-quality training data, we aim to democratize top-notch education, keep pace with cutting-edge research, and enhance laboratory processes for scientists globally. Your involvement is the catalyst for the next wave of AI innovation.
We seek nuclear engineering specialists who are deeply knowledgeable in reactor physics, radiation transport, nuclear fuel cycle analysis, thermal hydraulics, reactor safety, nuclear materials, radiation shielding, and nuclear instrumentation. You will engage with advanced language models on complex subjects such as neutron moderation, reactor core design, radiation detection methods, nuclear waste management, probabilistic risk assessment, and nuclear system modeling—meticulously documenting each failure mode to strengthen model reasoning.
In your daily activities, you will discuss reactor operation scenarios and theoretical nuclear engineering inquiries with the model, verify its factual accuracy and logical integrity, capture reproducible error traces, and propose enhancements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
A Master's degree or PhD in nuclear engineering or a related discipline is preferred; relevant peer-reviewed publications, hands-on reactor research experience, familiarity with nuclear facilities, or computational modeling projects are indicators of a strong fit. Exceptional metacognitive communication skills—demonstrating your thought process—are essential.
Are you prepared to transform your nuclear engineering proficiency into the foundational knowledge for tomorrow’s AI? Apply today and begin mentoring the model that will educate the world.
We offer an hourly pay range of $8 to $65, with the specific rate determined based on your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Please note that final offer amounts may vary from the stated pay range. As a contractor, you will need to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet; company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply.
