We are seeking a motivated nurse or mental health care worker who thrives in a challenging and dynamic environment. You will contribute to the care, guidance, and treatment of clients with diverse psychiatric conditions.
As a nurse or mental health care worker at the Adult Clinic within Acute Care, you will support clients experiencing acute psychiatric crises requiring hospitalization. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to formulate, implement, and evaluate client care plans, encouraging client autonomy. In your nursing role, you will provide medical care and perform nursing technical tasks.
In Acute Care, clients aged 18 to 65 are admitted, with a maximum of 16 clients exhibiting various psychiatric issues. Admissions occur when acute psychiatric problems arise that cannot be managed at home or pose significant risks to themselves or others. Diagnosis and treatment take place within the clinic, aiming to foster client responsibility and minimize hospitalization duration.
