Qualifications
- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent, along with graduation from an Alberta Government-recognized Health Care Aide program is essential.- Proficiency in reading, writing, and effective communication in English is required.- Physical capability to frequently lift, transfer, and reposition clients is necessary.- Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) is required.

Position Overview:
The Nursing Attendant plays a vital role as a member of the interprofessional healthcare team, directly reporting to the Director of Care. Responsibilities include observing and reporting on client conditions, ensuring timely communication of any changes to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and administering medications in accordance with established policies.
This position adheres to Carewest's Philosophy of Care, maintaining the highest ethical standards while performing additional related duties as required.
