Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory, along with completion of an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program.- Proficient in reading, writing, and effective communication in English.- Must be physically capable of frequent lifting and transferring of clients.

Job Summary:
The Nursing Attendant is a crucial member of the interprofessional healthcare team, providing continuous care to clients. Responsibilities include observing, monitoring, and reporting on client conditions, ensuring that any changes in physical or emotional status are communicated promptly to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
In accordance with Carewest’s policies and ethical standards, the Nursing Attendant will administer prescribed medications and perform related duties as necessary.
Program Overview:
The Rehabilitation and Community Transition Program (RCTP) is designed for medically stable adults who require supportive care as they transition back to the community.
