JOB SUMMARY
The Occupational Therapist II is responsible for assessing and providing therapeutic services aimed at enhancing, restoring, or developing the functional capabilities of patients who are facing challenges in their daily living tasks due to physical illnesses, injuries, psychosocial disabilities, or developmental delays. This role requires collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop effective treatment plans. Duties may include evaluations and treatments for dysphagia, psychosocial re-conditioning, assistive technology training, and modifications of environments to improve functional performance. As a Senior Therapist, you will lead multi-disciplinary discussions to advocate for optimal patient care and mentor less experienced therapists and interns, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive occupational therapy services.
