The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications for an open rank faculty position in the Division of Hematology and Oncology within the School of Medicine. We are seeking dedicated individuals eager to advance their academic careers in hematology and oncology, with responsibilities encompassing teaching, clinical services, and both clinical and laboratory-based research. Positions may be filled at the assistant, associate, or full professor levels, and can be tenure-earning, tenured, or non-tenure earning, depending on the applicant's experience and qualifications.
Applicants must possess an MD degree and be board certified or board eligible in oncology and/or hematology. The Division is experiencing significant growth, backed by substantial investment from the Department, School, and the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center, and is committed to expanding its hematology and oncology programs. Faculty members will have access to exceptional interdisciplinary programs, including the UAB Center for Translational Science, the Alabama Drug Discovery Alliance, and leading initiatives in genomics, personalized medicine, advanced medical imaging, and survivorship research.
