The Security Centre Operational Analyst plays a crucial role in executing the core functions of the Regional Security Center (RSC), focused on safeguarding personnel, facilities, assets, reputation, and operational integrity across the EMEA region. This position requires close collaboration with various teams to analyze risks, monitor security incidents and systems, and deliver timely insights and responses to internal stakeholders. Ideal candidates will demonstrate exceptional critical thinking, operational aptitude, attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities, ensuring effective security responses, investigations, and crisis management in a 24/7 operational environment.
This is a full-time, office-based position located in Amsterdam, requiring shift patterns to ensure 24/7 operational coverage, including nights and weekends. Shifts will be managed across a team of Operational Analysts.
The Operational Analyst will collaborate with fellow analysts, senior analysts, and client leads.
Monitor open-source, proprietary, and vendor-provided information sources for incidents or impacts to Uber across multiple in-house and vendor tools simultaneously.
Respond to security incident inquiries and requests from client staff through Slack, email, or phone across the EMEA region, managing initial triage and response.
Oversee alarm and CCTV platforms, initiate immediate responses to alarm activations, and conduct CCTV reviews to support asset protection. Create tickets for technical security incidents, badging assistance, and access control.
Conduct real-time open-source information monitoring during critical events impacting the safety and security of client personnel, locations, assets, and operational activities.
