Operational Buyer
Full-time | 39 hours per week
Bufab Flos is actively seeking an Operational Buyer, a dedicated individual tasked with ensuring the timely and complete availability of customer deliveries.
In addition to standard confirmation products, you will procure customer-specific items based on orders and forecasts. Your attention to detail will ensure consistent follow-up on discrepancies in promised delivery dates and quantities, as well as accurate processing in the ERP system. Strong internal customer orientation and flexibility are essential for effective coordination with the Sales and Logistics departments. The Operational Buyer is responsible for timely communication and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
You will report directly to the Purchasing Manager, collaborate closely with the Operational Coordinator (who has a supervisory role), and be part of a professional and friendly purchasing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the right materials and services are available on time, in the correct quantities, and under the right conditions while maintaining optimal inventory levels to guarantee customer deliveries.
- Monitor delivery conditions, driven by QLTCS, and negotiate for the best results.
- Manage the assigned item and supplier portfolio.
- Track, follow up, communicate, and report on established KPIs, escalating in cases of exceedances outside agreed limits.
- Process purchase and manufacturing orders in the ERP system.
- Strive for error-free results and evaluate possible alternatives.
- Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers.
- Coordinate internal matters, such as the supply of goods, with the Sales, Quality, and Logistics departments.
- Recognize potential variations regarding timelines and objectives and ensure that corrective measures are implemented as necessary.
