The Role
Nabis is in search of a dedicated and proactive Operations Manager to enhance our New York delivery hub. This role demands a highly organized individual with exceptional interpersonal abilities, ready to take ownership of the site’s operational accuracy and efficiency. This is a full-time position that may occasionally require demanding hours. Candidates must have prior supervisory or management experience in warehouse and/or distribution logistics.
The Operations Manager will report directly to the New York General Manager and will be responsible for ensuring a thorough understanding of Nabis’s central warehouse operations and the intricacies of enterprise client relationships. Key responsibilities will include organizing, overseeing, and strategizing daily site operations while collaborating closely with other Nabis hubs to streamline all processes, both new and existing. The ideal candidate will excel in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines and dynamic requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the New York GM, Managers, Supervisors, and Associates to ensure punctual and accurate transportation and movement of all inbound/outbound warehouse activities.
- Monitor daily team performance and provide feedback and training to associates as necessary.
- Manage daily volume to maintain compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Oversee market objectives and key results (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery on time in full (DOTIF), quality of service, and inventory, ensuring a premier experience for our brand and retail partners.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP) within the team.
- Forecast and manage staffing requirements and schedules for department associates.
