Position Overview
The Operations Manager will oversee the planning, direction, and optimization of daily manufacturing and distribution operations. This role is pivotal in achieving production, quality, safety, delivery, and cost objectives, while leading cross-functional teams to satisfy both customer and business needs. The Operations Manager will closely collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution:
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to achieve demand, delivery, and service targets.
Adapt labor, equipment, and capacity plans in response to forecast changes.
Quality & Continuous Improvement:
Ensure adherence to product quality standards while implementing corrective and preventive measures.
Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and increasing throughput.
People Management:
Recruit, train, and develop supervisors and hourly staff.
Oversee performance reviews, succession planning, and workforce strategy.
