We are currently seeking a Modernization and Capabilities Developer to support the Marine Corps Installation Command (MCICOM) in its mission to enhance installation modernization and capability support. This pivotal role will involve identifying, evaluating, and integrating cutting-edge technologies, processes, and organizational changes to boost the readiness and efficiency of Marine Corps installations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in outreach, collaboration, and coordination with MCICOM directorates, HQMC departments, Marine Forces Commands, DON organizations, research institutions, private sector partners, and academic entities.
• Discover and assess new capabilities and advancements in the market, Marine Corps Warfighting Lab, and Marine Corps Systems Command that can elevate Marine Corps installations.
• Assist in branding initiatives, develop publications, and contribute to graphic design efforts to effectively communicate modernization initiatives.
• Aid in formulating interim guidelines and policies as new capabilities transition into Marine Corps installations.
• Provide comprehensive support for conferences and meetings, encompassing pre-event planning, on-site coordination, and post-event reporting.
• Review policies and suggest updates to directives guiding installation modernization programs.
• Create and enhance briefings, documents, and staff packages to bolster modernization and capability projects.
• Draft and refine PLANORDs, OPORDs, and Letters of Instruction to implement new modernization initiatives.
• Develop and optimize tools for processing, analyzing, and monitoring modernization and capability advancements.
