The Role
We are seeking an Operations Research Engineer to architect and execute state-of-the-art prediction, planning, and optimization frameworks that enhance Mariana’s autonomous operations and extensive logistics network. You will convert intricate, unpredictable operational challenges into structured ML and optimization tasks, developing systems that advance routing, dispatch, scheduling, resource allocation, and real-time decision-making throughout our operations.
What You’ll Do
Create ML and optimization-driven prediction and planning algorithms tailored for dynamic and uncertain operational landscapes.
Translate broad operational issues into structured optimization or ML challenges.
Design, train, and assess deep learning models for prediction, planning, and decision-making.
Utilize advanced methodologies such as reinforcement learning, stochastic optimization, robust optimization, combinatorial optimization, and integer/mixed-integer programming.
Build scalable systems for routing, fleet optimization, dispatch algorithms, multi-agent planning, and scheduling.
