Are you a hotel professional who thrives on support, improvement, and advisory roles? As an Operations Specialist, you will be the essential link between our hotels and innovative operational solutions.
Your Role
In the role of Operations Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our hotels regarding operational and system-related inquiries. You will assist hotels in utilizing both internally developed systems, such as online check-in, as well as external systems used within the hotels. Your experience in hotel operations allows you to understand daily workflows and provide targeted advice on effective practices. Within the organization, you will represent the voice of the hotels and ensure that feedback is addressed and translated into improvements.
As an Operations Specialist, you will guide our hotels in operational inquiries, advise on more efficient practices, introduce new updates and functionalities, provide training, identify improvement opportunities and trends, and contribute to projects and enhancement initiatives. You will represent the interests of the hotels within our organization and assist in the further development of the online knowledge base.
Your Team
You will be part of the Operations team, consisting of 10 motivated colleagues. Together, you serve as the connecting link between the hotels and internal departments, aiming to provide optimal support and continuously improve processes.

You will be part of the Valk Service Center, which supports more than 70 Van der Valk hotels both domestically and internationally. Through various teams such as marketing, revenue management, and HR, we collaboratively support our hotels in the best possible way from our modern office located in the beautiful Van der Valk Hotel in Breukelen.
